Mark said he was particularly attracted to the memoirs of service people posted to Orkney that are incorporated into Nina Brown's Scapa Flow. Mark Jenkins has worked on many movies over more than 20 years. His credits include editing the BAFTA Scotland Award winning "Ma Bar" in 2009 and Peter in Radioland voted Best International Short Film at Glasgow Film Festival in 2010.
The short 12-week residency, funded by the Scapa Flow Landscape Partnership Scheme is situated at the Pier Arts Centre in Stromness which will culminate in a new film which will be screened in June 2012.
