By Adriana Noton

A tuxedo suit is a formal suit that has satin facings on the jacket's lapels and buttons. It also has a stripe on the outer seam of the trousers which go with the suit. It is usually worn with a white formal shirt and other accessories associated with the black tie dress code.

Weddings and proms are examples of occasions where a man may wear a tuxedo suit formal wear London Ontario. They're usually rented out for such occasions. They're not usually bought for personal use because those occasions only come around once in a while. There are a lot of different styles available but they all have the typical satin facings on the jacket lapels and the satin stripe on the trousers.

Most rentals allow you to choose what style you want. There are a variety of different materials these suits may be made of but they are usually made of either wool, polyester or rayon. One thing that remains constant is the satin finish on the lapels and trousers.

The usual tuxedo outfit consists of the jacket, worn together with a white dress shirt that has studs instead of buttons. Black leather shoes are also worn. Other accessories are cuff links and a silk handkerchief worn in the suit's breast pocket.

Fit is the most important factor in deciding what suit to wear. It should be neither too large or small for the wearer. Important things to look at are shoulder width and pant leg length. The overall fit should not be too baggy or too tight.

Aside from the traditional black and white style, there are also more colorful variations on the tux. You can get one it silver or white. Some are even in other colors not normally seen in formal wear. These are geared towards younger men, especially those looking for a suit to wear to their high school prom.

If you're renting a tux, you should reserve in advance in order to have enough time to pick the style and fit the different suits available. It is important to know how long you will be renting the suit because a longer rental period will mean a greater fee. There is a wide variety to choose from and having more time will give you the opportunity to pick one that is best for you.

As for care of your tux, you should have it dry cleaned if ever it gets dirty. You should never machine wash a suit because that will ruin the fabric. Use of a clothes brush is also ideal to keep it free from lint. If ever you get any food on it, you should blot it immediately with a wet cloth to avoid staining.

The best way to check if a suit is right for you is to simply put it on. Merely picking one based on measurements is not enough. You need to see how it will sit on your shoulders and if the pant length is right for you. As for style, sometimes the simplest suit is the most elegant looking.
