A wedding might just be the most important day in a woman's life. As far as possible, everything has to be just perfect as she walks down the aisle - the gown, bouquet, and her shoes. After months of planning, no bride should see her efforts go to waste by failing to choose the right shoes for her wedding day. So in deciding which kind of bridal shoes to wear, does one go for flats or heels?
For women whose grooms are much taller than them, it is recommended that they wear bridal shoes with heels to help balance their respective heights. Alternatively, it may be better to wear flats if you and your groom do not have a significant difference in your height. More especially if you are taller than your groom it is probably best not to opt for heeled bridal shoes.

The fashion of the bridal dress should also be considered in selecting your wedding footwear. For full bridal dresses, flat footwear can help your day go easier because the new bride could be on her feet for quite a large portion of the day and the shoes are not likely to be on display a great deal. Even so, if the wedding footwear is going to be fairly exposed, then donning high heel shoes is most likely going to be the most suitable choice because they can help make your legs appear a lot more shapely.

Ease and comfort of wear is one thing which should not be taken for granted when choosing the perfect wedding footwear for you. The wedding party won't continue for only a couple of minutes. However, if wearing tall and slender high heels is your own typical fashion then you'll be accustomed to them.

Of course, there is no reason why you should not have a more comfortable pair of alternative shoes handy just in case you need to make a quick change. Rather than spend your entire shoe budget on a single pair, perhaps two pairs of
